GN Transport is, according to our insurance company, one of the transport companies with the lowest level of claims for many years.
Nevertheless, we want to make sure that the customer gets the right compensation if there is a damage during transportation. According to the general regulations (NSAB 2015) developed by the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders, the compensation is limited to approximately €10 per kg.
We therefore recommend customers who have a high value of goods to take out additional goods insurance.
All goods stored at our terminals are insured according to NSAB 2015. According to NSAB 2015, the insurance does not cover water damage, fire or theft. Such risks must be covered by the customer’s insurance.

Many of these countries currently have road taxes to operate their highways and we foresee that more and more will introduce so-called road taxes in the form of fees, transport taxes and other means.
